Floating Village - Halong Bay

We took a bus to the coast to take a tour around Halong Bay. The boat is good, the crew welcoming and the views around the bay are simply stunning. There are many 'activities' planned for us on the tour which all adhere to a strict schedule, how the schedule works is a mystery to everyone, it's a moveable feast, but definitely strict and while mystifying seems to work out just fine.

Today's activity is visiting the floating village. They fish, farm pearls and show tourists around in their boats, all without every touching dry land. It's a truly amazing place. Even in a floating village in Vietnam you exit via the shop.
