Halong Bay

We transfer to a smaller and slightly ritzier boat today and cruise further into bay. It's probably my favourite part of the trip as we leave the other boats behind for a while and go past the limestone karsts which jut out of the water almost vertically, it's absolutely spectacular.

We go ashore on Cat Ba Island for biking and then a bit of sea kayaking, then back to the main boat slightly ahead of schedule.

We head back towards our mooring for the night. It's happy hour inside and as the sun sets, magic hour outside.
