Butterbur honey?

What a fantastic day! I love this big patch of Butterbur along the Gill Beck. Every year I spend a day or two lying on my belly trying to optimise the photo panorama of them looking incongruously pink amongst the garlic.

The bees clearly like them. Not much nectar yet apart from the odd dandelion so a decent feed like this in March is always a bit.

Dozens of chiffchaffs today. The first peepings of George's mushrooms. First cuckoo flowers. Multiple Small Tortoiseshells.
