Potting Up....!!

Another fabulous day....and myself and Mel have spent most of it in the garden....I’m a bit slow getting things done but achieving a little......
Well I got to see my ENT doc last night....after a dash to his clinic in Dublin .....he spent almost 2 hours talking to us...!!!!
Unusual for consultants...
I suppose there is ‘good’ and there’s ‘bad’.....at least I now know that the procedure I had in January is causing all the aggravation in my head...and that I am not ‘going mad’ or ‘imagining’ things....!
The procedure I had was a very invasive micro suction..to remove all the debris from my now seriously diseased ear..and I had misunderstood..I thought he didn’t preform the mastoid ectoplasty because I didn’t need it where, in fact, the 3 bones and my eardrum are so disintegrated that there is no point..
This is what I had done in my right ear and it is very successful....
The result is now I am hearing at a completely different level in my left ear....causing the ‘echoes’ vibration vertigo (which will and is settling)..the balance issues and of course the tinnitus which probably won’t settle...!
I have to have an MRI scan and further hearing tests..to manage the problem on going..
But I came away with an easier mind understanding more....!
So for the ‘medical’ rant...but my doc is now back in ‘my good books’ for taking the time..
