Mother's Day Dessert

There was still snow on the ground this morning, but it soon vanished with the sunny day.  It still remains breezy, and a shower with a rainbow at 6pm.  Fine light evening with an extra hour, now dark at 8.30pm.

Up early, and got clothes on the line.  I headed into town to get some final bits for Mother's Day dinner, a treat for two mam's.  Walkies with Sammy around Scalloway this evening, and then home to watch the Antiques Road show.  Family friend Joyce was on tonight with a butter churn, she's originally from Shetland.  A quiet night by the fire now.

Me and peerie Brian joined forces, and organised Mother's Day dinner.  Brian was the main course, roast beef and trimmings, and I was on dessert.  I kept it easy, and made nutella cup brownies.  Along with our mam's, both dads and also Elise too.  After dinner, Brian sorted tea and coffee, while I cleared up.  Here's Madeline and mam both ready to tuck into dessert.  Taken at Big Brian and Madeline's home, Berry Road, Scalloway.
