Bank Hall

The last of my snowdrop pics that's a promise. Spent alot of today down at father in laws helping with his rehab. Me, Mrs Wild and the lads did manage an afternoon at Bank Hall for the snow drops. It was just stunning. Could have gone for a sea of white shot but this shows part of the hall in its tumbedown glory. They friends group were doing tea and cakes this year. There is nothing quite like a strong mug of tea in the out doors on a chilling afternoon with a chunk of lemon cake for company.

Bank Hall dates from the early Jacobean period (James I). The core of the hall is Jacobean and then been added on so it has bits of Hanoverian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture added on. It featured on the first series of BBC Restoration and is subject of a bid to heritage lottery for restoration.
