Big trees, small loch

Portmore Loch is actually a fair size, but I quite liked the perspective that these trees gave. It was a lovely day for a walk with lots of sun and not too much wind. This walk is one of my favourites, including woods, water, a not-too-steep hill and some moorland with sheep. Today there were also cows and we took in the optional archeological site of Northshield Rings, an ancient fort.
