Life from city to village

Monkey Park

Ran out of wifi yesterday - but we went to the Monkey Park at Serrakunda. It was amazing feeding the monkeys - the main picture is a green ververet, the extra is the other variety, a red collabas.

The trees in the monkey park are over 1000 years old, with palm and baobab. The dictator, before he was booted out 3 years ago, gave a big part to the Chinese to build an 'International Gambian Centre'. Last year they wanted more, but the protests stopped it. The reserve needs to be kept as it is.

After the park, we walked back along the beach.
