Goose Circuits And Bumps

What a change in the weather! Really cold with rain and hail. It's the sort of day where I would have headed to Amwell Nature Reserve but dogs have been banned from the hides there so Ollie dog and I went to Longlands Hide at Fishers Green. It was freezing in there. 

Once it had stopped raining we headed for the Bittern Hide. On the way a pair of greylag geese repeatedly circled us honking loudly. Ollie was transfixed. After nearly touching down a couple of times they eventually landed and started grazing. I got lots of lovely pics of them in the air, even though I say so myself. It was difficult to choose which to post.
