Beneath-a-Burn

The April showers poured down all day, and breezy too.  It eased up in the late afternoon, and a bit better this evening.

A busy day working on the museum desk.  We had more bairns workshops on in the morning, and again in the afternoon.  There was a large cruise ship due in, but in cancelled due to the weather.  I managed a good walk with Sammy, around Scalloway and then he charged around the castle for a while.  Off to work in the pub later.

It was no weather for a lunchtime walk, not even out of town.  It wasn't only rain today, but also heavy overnight.  The Burn of The Glen of Quarff was flowing fast, and you can see the waterfall full of water.  Looking down on to Beneath-a-Burn, Wester Quarff.
