Shottery

Ann went off with a friend to the Blue Cross rehoming centre in Bromsgrove this morning.  She didn't return with a new friend!

Whilst she was there I went for a walk into Shottery via Shottery Brook Walk and paid a visit to Anne Hathaways Cottage.  It was fairly quiet there, just one group of European visitors, and the woods were deserted. There's something very special about the small wood there, it's lovely just to stand amongst the trees and listen to the birdsong.

There are lots of flowers, blossom and baby lambs around the area. This is a row of cottages next to the gardens of Anne Hathaways.
