Stockpiling
I may have mentioned before that one of the big things we miss by being incarcerated in lockdown is being able to go out for our daily coffee. We soon polished off the remains of our existing cafetiere coffee and that was it.
Then I had a recommendation from blipper ikkio_too to try the Monsoon Estates website. Today our first delivery of coffee arrived through the post, two from Columbia and two from Guatemala. The choice of coffees on the site is very impressive. Buying four packets may seem a bit like panic buying but it was just sound economics, orders of four coffees and over get free postage!
What is nice is that the firm is fairly local, being based in Atherstone on Stour, about three miles from Stratford.
ps there are only three bags of coffee in the picture as one was very carefully unpacked so it could be sampled this afternoon. It's delicious!
In other news: I finally managed to secure a Tesco delivery slot, it's not for three weeks but we should be able to manage until then with much appreciated help from Tom and Rachel.
