Up, up and away

We set the alarm clocks on both our phones for 5.45am, caught the ferry at 7.30am, flight at 11.10am arriving at Bristol airport at 3pm, so far so good. The plane was only two weeks old and had unusually clean windows, hence the clear shot through the window. Then it went downhill, we caught the coach to Exeter on time but it got held up by roadworks and then we missed our bus connection. Luckily we were able to catch the next one 45 minutes later, the last bus of the day which got us home just before 8pm. A good job we can turn the heating up remotely and it was cosy when we arrived home. It was 4 degrees when we landed.
