Wednesday: Eye Eye

Many years ago, when I first started blipping and before I moved on to overseas adventures, I used to overegg this landmark terribly. So for old times' sakes........

The flight was pretty smooth, if long. We did have the excitement of the northern lights, which was quite something. We both watched 'Can You Forgive Me?' which was excellent.

We're staying briefly in central London and, on check in, had to give in to a nap of a few hours. This evening we headed to one of our favourite pubs, followed by our favourite Chinese....

Before we got too jet lagged and random we did have a vaguely philosophical discussion about two lives - our connectivity, familiarity, friends and house here - as well as our home, job, cat, friends etc in Vancouver......
