A walk along the high tide mark

The weather improved by the afternoon so wearing suitable waterproof footwear we headed down to the beach.

We just missed high tide but there were still plenty of waves.
I love the sound of the waves breaking on the shore. A couple of dogs were having a great time running into the sea, getting as wet as possible and then having a good shake as near to a human as possible!
