I did ask!

What a terrible day ..... temperatures of 1C, sleet, rain and the worst flooding I have seen for many years. It was certainly not a day for taking outdoor photographs.

After meeting friends for coffee in Elie this morning L and I headed to St Andrews for a food shop and a spot of retail therapy but apart from food we bought nothing!

We did stop for a coffee and I just had to ask that lovely American girl if I could take her photo ..... I was wearing 6 layers of clothing and resembled the 'Michelin Man' and in contrast this girl was wearing a strappy vestie top.  I guess young folk don't feel the cold.

The forecast is more promising ..... time will tell!
