Magnolia Time

The three magnolia bushes in front of the Civic are coming into flower. A couple of mistle thrushes are hopping around on the lawns, no doubt feeding their young (they are amongst the early breeders). 

The cherry tree flower buds are also now enlarging, they'll be the next show in town. 

It's the same every year around this time, part of the rhythm of things.
