NE MLK at NE Failing

Extra Days suggested trying a place that's been getting rave reviews and was voted one of the best new restaurants in Portland last year.  Yes, please!  So we met for lunch at Akadi on NE MLK, it was excellent and I had a big serving of delicious plantains which always makes very happy (they are my comfort food). We then strolled around and checked out a couple of vintage stores I like to visit when I'm in town.  It was nice to catch up.
