Christmas prayer
OK, this isn't the most artistically inspired photo. It's meant to show a habit that minibus taxi drivers have of taking the quickest route to their ultimate destination, even if it means changing the route to get there. In this case, the traffic was moving extremely slowly on the right side of the road. So, the driver adroitly (agauchely?) switched to the left side of a divided street and drove into oncoming traffic. You can see that our taxi wasn't the only to do this - the one ahead was too. It seems important to be part of a herd of vehicles that do this at once, and preferable not to be the first one to do it. Maybe this is a human example of why birds and fish go around in flocks and schools - it's safer. I was hoping that we would not become roadkill, and we didn't!
