Lago Grey

Hooray!  We awoke to see the sunrise lighting up the Torres.  The extra shows the view from our tent.

We chose an excursion to Lago Grey to see the glacier.   Unfortunately the weather rapidly deteriorated and when we arrived after a two hour bus ride it was blowing a gale with horizontal rain.  It was a nightmare keeping rain of the lens but my telephoto hood provided a little protection.

The organisation at Eco Camp is amazing.   When we first arrived it felt a little like the first day at school but we rapidly settled into the routine.  Each evening there was briefing on the possible trips for the following day - graded into Easy,  Medium and Hard.

We decided to go for the hard option the following day as it was a walk up to the iconic towers. and our final day  The weather remains a concern though
