Laguna Amerga
To quote from Wikipedia "the lake provides a mirror reflection of las Torres above" Could have fooled me as thick cloud and wind put paid to any reflected scenery. The lake is blue from the primitive cyanobacteria that live there. In the early period of the Earth's formation Cyanobacteria played a vital part in creating our oxygen rich atmosphere.
It was a nice day with a walk and a lunch barbecue - sadly no views of the Torres.
The nice thing about the Eco-Camp is the fact that it is all inclusive. Each day there are a number of guided tours to choose from at no extra cost. The extremely good (and substantial) evening meals and a packed lunch are also part of the deal. Even wine with the evening meal is provided - good Chilean wine too.
