A Seriously Scary Moment!

He started to slip and I closed my eyes, but he must have jumped down to a lower ledge where he was more stable. We watched this bouquetin for at least 30 minutes once he started moving across the face of the mountain (see extras to get more of an idea of where he was). With all the fresh snow he seemed to have lost all sense of security. Above him was a huge snow slope that was bound to avalanche this afternoon with the temperatures warming up. I might just have to go up again tomorrow to see if he is still OK. I had to return home as we have friends coming round tonight hence an early blip.

Have a good weekend everyone.
