On Fire

The Petit Muveran is usually in the shade in the mornings but today, the rising sun coloured the clouds swirling around the peak. Extras show how lovely the light was this morning so I was glad that I hadn't slept well and was awake to appreciate the dawn.

Thanks for all the concerned comments for yesterday's bouquetin. I didn't go up the hill today having seen the number of cars zooming up to catch the first lifts. He will be OK, he is mature, and therefore an experienced climber! I need a name for him since George (the oldest male on the block died last year).
