Last day in Japan

A funny kind of day - I had no plan apart from maybe going up the SkyTree if the weather was good. It was, so I went up and the view of Tokyo is indeed good, but it was too hazy for any view of Mt Fuji.
I then strolled on the banks of the Sumida. There was a festival to celebrate the cherry blossom and lots of people were having picnics under cherry trees and wearing traditional clothes. I caught a performance of an impressive drumming group made of women and girls, some of them tiny [extra].
It has been an amazing trip. I am so grateful that I had the chance to do this, and realise how lucky I am.
