Ladybird
I watched last night's Rugby this morning - not great viewing. It was a good match, but Wigan Warriors let a good lead slip against Cas Tigers - mainly due to picking up injuries and just having less players to work with as the game went on!
Then it was off to The Parents. My Dad seemed to have forgotten about the shirts - as did I until an hour before home-time!
He was distracted as, before I'd arrived he'd put lamb on to cook and gone out to plant potatoes in the garden. He came in just after I arrived, and was shocked to find the oven off and the meat partly cooked! My Mum had switched off the oven, but she had no recollection of having done it of course!
Home then, and more rugby to watch, including a match between Catalans, who Wigan thrashed last week, and Saints - my least favourite team - who are riding high near the top of the table! I'd feared the worst, but in driving rain untypical of the South of France, the Dragons looked like a different team! They could defend for a start! And they ended up winning by 8 points! It was a gripping and entertaining game!
All my other jobs are done now. and I'm in my PJs to chill out for a bit with a glass or two of wine!
This photo of a ladybird was taken on the walk between the train station and my parents' home in Metheringham.
