Old Thistle

Renewed energy today to tackle the gubbins on the attic stairs.

9 hours later the staircase is cleared and more rubbish thrown out or things sorted for charity shops.

One thing not being removed is this commemorative plate my late father bought for us on the 300th anniversary of the creation of the Order of the Thistle. It would not fetch much on Antiques Roadshow but it does have sentimental value.

Thistles seem to be the order of the weekend,
