Fragmented

Back to the usual shopping, walking the dog, visiting elderly relative(s), tidying up, washing phone calls, collecting family from train etc.

Before meeting up with our good friends Kenneth and Joyce who are back in Edinburgh - and who kindly offered accommodation to our son during the house works -  we went light hunting.

We are at the stage now of deciding what lighting and where we need it in the new rooms so the electrician can install the wiring before the walls go up.

A visit to an aladdin's cave in a nearby converted church. Lots we didn't like.  Some we did (at a cost!); and some we liked but is no no longer available to order in the quantity we need. Other lights are available though.

The shop was also full of mirrors.  There seems to be a trend of fragmented mirrors, giving an overall effect but not a clear large reflection.  May look good in the shop - but not for us.

Ended the day with an enjoyable Chinese meal.
