St Vincent Day

We spent the day on bike exploring the city and in particular the area near the beach. Although the weather was cool in the morning and there was always a breeze, it was mostly blue skies and pleasantly warm. Unfortunately, I underestimated the power of the sun and took too much sun and paid the price. I've gone, or my face has gone., a lurid shade of Valencian orange. Need to buy some after-sun....school boy error, i know. On our way back to return our bikes, we stumbled across a religious procession which we learned was a celebration of the patron saint of Valencia. Cue lots of images of some fine Spanish ladies (and men) dressed in traditional Spanish costume processing behind religious depictions of St Vincent.
