The Boat Race

We walked from Kew to Barnes with S&S to see the boat race and this is the Cambridge women with a good lead close to the finish. We stayed for the men’s race and then headed home as we’d offered to cook Sunday lunch for them and M&L, and needed to drop Emma’s birthday present off. Luckily I’d prepped everything, but the heat was on to get it all cooked and the timings right. R and I make a great team though and the dinner was delicious, even though I do say so myself. R’s pineapple and chilli pudding and Lori’s cup cakes were a dream.
All four of them are not working tomorrow and so were very much in a party mood.
