Cabbage White

Unlike yesterday’s yellow admiral the the cabbage white butterfly uses all six legs to stand on.

Today was mostly cloudy, but with a warm nor’wester. I opened up doors and windows to let the wind blow through. This seemed to be an open invitation to the fantails. They flew in windows and out doors, or in doors and out windows, circling around rooms and making a lot of noise. They also left their calling cards here and there. I can’t be annoyed at them. They are so cute, and I feel honoured.
