Not quite a macaroon

It's been a fairly chilled day.
Thom is still not good and spent most of the day watching Spongebob and some dr who. Hoping he's a bit better tomorrow but got a feeling it may be a trip back to the docs.
Finally met the person who'd ordered the cowls I'd been making. It's always great to meet customers and its spurred me into really trying to get stock built up next year.
I attempted to make some macaroons. It's been on my list to do all year and I finally got round to it this afternoon. I now know what not to do and hopefully next time they make look more like they should do. They taste good and thoms happy as he thinks they look like crabby patties from spongebob.
Didn't make it up the coast to knitting as had to walk gonzo and get the Christmas cards done.
I'm now in a lovely position as everything is pretty much sorted for Christmas. It's strange as this hasn't happened to me before.
