This is unexpected.

A warning message on the screen of my new Ricoh GRIII, it's only a few days over a month old. It tells you this and then shuts down, hhmmm... very odd.

The old GRII worked flawlessly so let's hope this is just a glitch. I've spoken to Ricoh and it goes in on Friday to be looked at. Fortunately the repair centre is in Uttoxeter and I shall be passing by there on my way to Stoke for work. Best fire up the old faithful GRII then, if only I could find it! I haven't clue where I've put it, it's not in the camera cupboard with the other bits and pieces.
