A meeting with a colleague in Derby today and we popped into a cafe on Midland Road opposite this photographers, which I was told is the longest running photography business in Britain. The cafe had some old photos of the street on the wall and in the extra you can see the same photographers in 1881.

In other news, there was a power cut in central Brum today and when I left New Street was in semi-darkness but the trains were still running. Apparently it affected the Bull Ring too.
