Diary of an Edinburgher

Gardening!

Another day of activity in the sunshine. This time - gardening. Our neighbour was out doing stuff as well - I leant him my reciprocating saw to chop down a few branches.

When JR went off to the garden centre with a long list of things, I painted the edging, the bench, the table, and the gas box. Looks nice - all ready for summer.

Archie is a bit of a nuisance when we're gardening - he loves the soil, likes to stick his face into it and eat it. He also loves the brush, likes to try to kill it. And he's not good around wet paint. Also, he barks at everyone going by, so he was soon banished inside.

We were all glad when Libby arrived to take him out - we weren’t sure if she was away on holiday or not. They had a long walk up the hill, so everybody was happy.

Check out JR's new wellies!
