A Wild Swan Chase

Following a hot tip from a birder friend, I went down to the local reservoir to look for Whooper Swans - a very unusual visitor here. As I got there, the weather brightened and the swans, which weren't too far away swam even closer. Not often that happens. They stayed around until members of the rowing club arrived on the water and spooked them.
