Snake's heads everywhere

I'd seen this 'spring meadow' planted alongside an 'A' road locally with many wild flowers happily blossoming.  There were huge numbers of fritillaries, cuckoo flowers, camassia, dandelions etc.  The sun shone but there was still a chill wind - however, with these displays we know spring is definitely on the way!
