Day Out.....!!

Had a most enjoyable day out today with my friend....
There was a stiff breeze but the sun shone....we were at Castletown House in Celbridge Co. Kildare....a semi Palladian ansion built in the seventeen hundreds. And now owned by the state and renovated and maintained by the OPW...our Office Of Public Works! They have done a magnificent job of restoration...it was quiet today being midweek and the start of the season so we had the whole house to ourselves...we got talking to a girl who works there and she was so knowledgeable about all the history of the building...it was amazing..!!
We plan on having a lot more days like this out.....
And thankfully I was fine..
