This weekend I watched the farmers as they went to and fro in the fields on their tractors, planting maize and covering it with this film, which protects it from birds and keeps it warm while it germinates and then photodegrades as the crop matures and grows up through it.

I planned to come back and take a photo once they had finished and my chance arrived today as I passed by again on my way home from work.
