Let it Snow....

Well we did wake up to white this morning. This is down the road from our place a few miles. We had about an inch at our place. Snowed most of the day on and off, still only about an inch here though.
On our way home from Gracie's house tonight we saw something slink off the edge of the road and down the bank. We both knew it wasn't a deer. I stopped and hubby pulled out his flashlight and we were treated to the sight of a big cougar about 30 feet from us! He quickly moved back into the trees but watched us from there for quite some time. We had our light shining on his reflective green eyes. Then I spotted another set of green eyes beside him!
They did not want to leave the area even though we had our window down with the motor still running and we were talking. They must have had something in mind across the road and wanted to get over there. We left when a car was coming and I had to move out of the way. Excitement for the evening!
