A busy day!!
This day in the month is normally busy with an all day sewing session and an evening quilters meeting, but today we added an appointment at the vet for Amber.
She developed a sticky eye at doggy sleepover last week and we managed it with frequent bathing to keep it clean. It appeared to be resolving, but today the other eye started discharging. Time to get professional opinion!
She wasn’t happy to make eye to eye contact with the vet and growled at him. Not ferocious growling, just a ‘watch it mate....don’t hurt me’ !!!! He put a muzzle on her to make sure that no one inadvertently got injured. When the treatment was finished and the muzzle taken off, she was the greatest of pals with him as he fed her a digestive biscuit. Most strange as she doesn’t growl or bark at strangers visiting the house.
I joined my baby quilt blocks with the sashing today. I wasn’t sure about this at the planning stage, but it’s ok!! Didn’t get much done at the sewing session. One of the ladies needed help with making a jacket. Last month I kept suggesting that she reads the instructions on the pattern, to learn what to do and encourage independence!!!
She got round that one this time, she didn’t bring the pattern!! I had to try and guess what she had done and how we could remedy the problems!!!
