Making tracks.

I left the house at 5am today to take the train down to Stranraer. I've been asked to prepare a new planting plan for the Terrace Garden at the House of Elrig, in Galloway, and was lucky to have a couple of bright sunny days though with a bitingly cold wind. 

I changed trains at Kilmarnock - rather a lovely old station compared with that at Stranraer which is a cross between a farm shed and a wind tunnel!
