Palm Sunday
In Palm Sunday as Finnish tradition young children (especially girls) dress up as Easter witches, wearing colourful old clothes and painting freckles on their faces. These little witches then go from door to door, bringing willow twigs decorated with colourful feathers and crepe paper as blessings to drive away evil spirits, in return for treats.
We met plenty of witches and just look how beautiful twigs they gave us!
The election day in Finland. I gave my vote in advance already, as well as the rest of our family. So I had time to visit my dad and call my mom. And we did a huge gardening job together, me and my daughter. We planted some violas and carried the outdoor furniture out from the storage.
