Spiraea Arguta Bridal Wreath

Generally I am not keen on white flowers, especially in springtime, so it is a little contrary of me to have planted this next to the Pieris, blooming at the same time, also with white flowers.

Even more oddly, the only other flowers in the front garden (inherited from the previous owner) will be the white lilac and the Lily-of-the-valley.

Time to plant something with a bit of zing - any suggestions?
