Happieness Is ..........

Getting home!

No1 son, Butterfly and I went to see some bluebells this morning (extra) before we all headed to the hospital with plans to take Bunny and our ray of sunshine to the park for a picnic (Bunny was allowed out for a short while yesterday).
Unfortunately, Bunny's rug delivery was late ( having had both her cannulas fail and having to have them removed had something to do with it). So we had our picnic in the room …. and were then visited by the head of Infectious Diseases who, after talking to us, decided that there seemed to be more brains and common sense being shown than usual so Bunny was going to be allowed home for the Easter Weekend on the proviso that if there was any change in her condition she was to be brought straight back in.

So this evening she arrived home.
Her big sister is away for a sleep over so she is going to get a real surprise when she gets home in the morning.
I was delighted that I was able to have Bunny sleep on my chest for 45 minutes before we headed off to the hotel (which we booked as soon as we knew Bunny was coming home) so that she and her parents could have some quiet time together ……….. something they have not managed since Bunny arrived.
