Kew

We picked a wonderful day for a trip to Kew Gardens where we walked 12km and having all been desk bound for weeks we were pretty tired at the end of the day.

Glass sculptures have been installed throughout the gardens. Large and in garish colours we all disliked them increasingly as we went round, first finding that they ‘added little’ and then that they distracted from and overshadowed the natural beauty. This one in the glass houses was one of the least annoying.

Tonight we’ll be trying to capture and gently tag hedgehogs.... it could be a late night.
