We’ve been planning Project Puppy for some time, And now Josh is home from Uni and will be living here for a year whilst he waits for his op, it’s a good time to start so he can help with training,

We replied to 7 ads from people selling puppies today but no one replied. It’s so hard at the moment to find breeders with dogs, as soon as an ad goes up they are inundated with calls. It seems the fact we got people we’ve dog-sat for to give us references doesn’t actually count for much. I think we’ve responded to more than 20 ads And only one person got back to me but by the time I replied to their message the puppy had been sold. It doesn’t feel the right way to bring a young dog into a family - I feel the process should be a bit more measured.
