Spreading the cost

A 125 quid oak worktop from IKEA (why do they insist on capitals?) has made three shelves, a breadboard and a bit of firewood.
That’s not bad in my book.
The book being Scrimper’s Guide to DIY.
Plus all the lighting is voice controlled. When Alexa can be bothered to listen properly...
