Busy

Pootling in the garden with Mt&H in the morning whilst they planted up their various new plants - the garden looking so much nicer recently and H delighted that some have returned after she thought they’d all died since last summer.
Set off to meet P and T for lunch at the Red Lion. We had a good chat - mainly about the dogs Diesel and Heston and their antics. Diesel obviously still means the world to P despite disturbing his sleep and demanding a lot of attention, but he’s still doing two or three walks a day and keeping P fit and is clearly good company. T will go down tomorrow to change some lightbulbs for P and help out with a few other things, but otherwise he seems on good form.
Stopped off at Frosts with T on the way home for him to get some heritage tomato plants for his new mini greenhouse, then headed back with ice creams to Mt&H’s to sit in the garden for a while. As we sat there we decided the hawthorn tree was getting too dense again and needed ‘trimming’. Sawing by hand, then buying a chain saw, led to a garden full of branches and Mt&T reverting to being adventurous boys.
Mt&H went out for a meal as a treat and T&Kt stayed with me watching nonsense TV and chatting - T made dinner (rather too much.....he’ll have to get back on that diet track!).
