So dependable!!

My geums...Totally Tangerine have been flowering for the past month and I expect them to still be going in October. Whatever conditions are thrown at them they just get on with it!!!

Over to R's today to shred the garden cuttings that have been piling up for weeks / months. We did a good job, following the health and safety rules. We emptied the bottom layer of the composter and used it to mulch a cherry blossom tree that we planted. It took about 3 hrs to get this far.....longer than expected. Just as well we didn't tackle it yesterday as was the original plan.

Home for a rest. 

Yesterday's rhubarb was made into a crumble and included some strawberries. Love the balance of tartness and sweetness.....no added sugar in the fruit. We have had half and will have the remainder tomorrow.
