Beautiful Bleeding Hearts
A beautiful day for Resurrection morning.
We celebrated at Church and then rested in the garden after yesterday’s walk. I did manage to capture this part of a large bush. The ‘hearts’ are so delicate and I had wait until the breeze died down.
They are actually known as Lamprocapnos (or Dicentra) spectabilis and are a species of flowering plant in the poppy family Papaveraceae, native to Siberia, northern China, Korea and Japan.
